Wedding Shot List

Seriously, if there’s anything that catches your eye, try to get footage of it. It could be the missing piece to making the video feel unique to the couple that we’re shooting and the location that we’re shooting at.

B-Roll

  • Rings, jewelry, shoes

  • Table decor

  • Decor/Signage

  • Arbor

  • Cake

  • The dress/dresses

  • Flowers

  • Letter reading (if they have those) Would love to record them

  • Empty ceremony space

  • Drone Shots

I believe this is the best time to get genuine reactions! However, we both know, these rooms kind of become a wreck through it all. Just make sure we steer clear of clutter and trash.

Getting Ready

Bride/Bridesmaids

  • Stylist doing brides hair

  • Bride getting makeup done

  • Adjusting the wedding dress after its on

  • Mom and bridesmaids reactions

  • Smiling and serious mirror shots

Groom/Groomsmen

  • Adjusting jacket

  • Father/Best man adjusting tie

  • Putting on shoes and jackets

  • Just hanging out

  • Smiling and serious mirror shots

The photoshoots are a little weird for videographers because most of the shots are really staged. The main thing is to get the little interactions between the photos. We may have some cool ideas during the shots depending on how interactive the bridal parties are.

The ones of just the bride and groom are so good though!

Photoshoots

  • The exit

This is the most important part, but also the most straight forward. We will have a camera in the back zoomed in and it will have the audio from the mics, so we can be as creative with this as possible.

Ceremony

These are not gonna be pretty and that’s totally okay! This is about having fun and making sure that when the bride and groom look back at the video, they remember how fun that night was.
